The Historic Lakeway Hotel is situated in the Midwest community of Meade Kansas, and is located at the junction of State Highways 54 and 23, midway between the infamous "Boot Hill" in Dodge City, and the fabled "Land of OZ" in Liberal. Formally the Meade Hotel built in 1926, this 3 story concrete steel and brick building was one of the first "fire proof" structures built in the area.
The Meade Hotel was originally a 52-room hotel, but after many renovations, the Lakeway Hotel now features 10 guest rooms (5 single rooms, 4 suites, 1 mini-suite, and the Honeymoon Suite with a whirlpool tub
